Hansen and Young reserves the right to alter this agreement at any time. This will take place by updating this site. Please check back and review these terms as everytime you use this site you are agreeing to the terms as they are written at that time.
After completion of the auction call to make an appointment for pick up of your vehicle. You will be asked for the Lot#, person's name the vehicle will be registered in, whether you will be getting new plates or transferring plates, county and city, village or township vehicle will be kept in, driver's license or social security number, birthdate and whether there will be a recorded lien/loan on the vehicle. All vehicles must be picked up within 4 days of auction close.
All accounts must be settled for at the end of the auction. Payment must be made with cash, cashiers check, money order, wired money, Master Card, Visa or approved check. Final purchase price will include sales tax, buyers fee and purchase price, Wisconsin residents will pay for the title transfer of $69.50 plus registration/plate fees, and a $19.50 title service fee will be added. If payment is not received or arranged within 3 days, we reserve the right to charge all accounts due to the credit card on file including a 3.5% fee.
If purchases are not settled within 5 business days of the close of the auction, it will be considered in default. Upon default the bidder will be black listed/blocked from bidding on Hansen & Young Auctioneers auctions, as well as Mark Net auctions and will be charged 25% of bid price or $500, whichever is greater. All merchandise will be forfeited back to Hansen and Young Auctioneers.
There is a 10% buyer’s premium for all online auctions. If you wish to pay with credit card there is an additional 3.5% fee.
When you bid your maximum bid price the current bid price doesn't automatically go to your max bid unless there is a reserve. Some one else has to bid to increase the current price and the computer will automatically bid up to your max in the increments specified. If there is a reserve and your max bid exceeds the reserve it will go directly to the reserve price, however if your bid does not meet the reserve the bid will go immediately to your max bid.
This auction has what is called an auto extend feature, meaning the auction will not close until all bidding parties are satisfied. If any bids are placed within the last 10 minutes of the auction, the bid on lot(s) will extend for 10 minutes. The bidding will extend in 10 minute increments from the time the last bid is placed until there are no more bids, and the lot sits idle for 10 minutes.
Hansen and Young has put forth every effort to make accurate description of the items. Printed or verbal statements made
by staff are matters of opinion and are made in good faith. How ever all items are sold 'AS IS WHERE IS'. You are responsible for your own inspection during inspection periods.
No allowance will be made for errors in cataloging, genuineness, defects, or
imperfections not noted.
All sales are final, a bid is a legal binding contract between you and Hansen and Young Auctioneers.
